Our Terms and Conditions.

In the event of Property Therapy providing services, the Client agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions as set out below.

Any 'we' or 'our' referred to in this document is pertaining to Property Therapy Limited.

Guarantee
We guarantee that the services offered will match the description as agreed from outset in relation to quality, budget and style. If drawings have been provided, we guarantee that these plans will be adhered to.

Fee Structure

Initial Meeting
Our policy is to offer a no-obligation first meeting that is completely free of charge.

Presentation meeting
Any designs and reports we have produced for you at this stage will be chargeable depending on number of rooms and level of refurbishment needed. If you decide to implement the work yourself you will at this point only be invoiced for the said report and/or drawings.

If you engage the services of Property Therapy, these costs will be deducted from the design fee.

Implementation
Renovation work: We will produce an estimate of costs plus the design fee.

On engagement:
100% of costs are payable
50% of the design/labour fee

Set Package Fees: We will produce an Invoice of total costs including design and labour fees.

On engagement:
2/3rds of total costs plus VAT are payable

Completion
Renovation work: Upon completion we will produce an invoice of actual costs of which any balance is due plus the remaining 50% design fee.

Set Package Fees: Upon completion the balance of the invoice of total costs plus VAT is due.

Payment
Invoices are to be paid in pounds sterling as cash, cheque (payable to Property Therapy Limited) or internet bank transfer. Monies are due 14 days after the final invoice has been issued. Any outstanding invoices must be settled prior to any further work commencing.

Payment of the costs on the Estimate, and clearance of funds, is required before any products or services are acquired on behalf of the client.

Interest at the rate of 15% per annum shall be payable on all accounts not paid in full by their due date. This interest will be added from the invoice date and calculated on a daily basis.

Cheques are only accepted on the basis of being paid on first presentation. A charge of £35.00 will be made towards bank and administration charges for each cheque returned unpaid for any reason, whether or not the cheque is honoured on re-presentation.

Any Invoices or Estimates produced (for the same property) for the same products/services subsequently will supersede the previous.

VAT
All fees and charges are subject to VAT at the current rate.

Term
An estimate of time the work will take will be given. It should be understood that it is only an estimate, as Property Therapy cannot be held responsible for any unexpected events that can delay a project. We do promise to keep in communication with the client as to any delays should they occur.

Goods and Services
Property Therapy may have to use 3rd party suppliers, tradespersons, and specialist services to facilitate the completion of a project on behalf of the client. We shall liase with these persons as necessary.

The client may purchase products, accessories or supplies during a consultation or other service.

Any queries regarding goods and services supplied, quality, quantity or price related thereto, or works undertaken, must be raised immediately at the time of concern, and, where possible, at the time of the estimate. No queries will be entertained after the presentation of the invoice.

At times it may be necessary to obtain keys for the property, or we may require an additional set of keys to be made. The client will be advised of this before it is necessary and will be in agreement. These will always remain the property of the client, of whom will be notified as to who is in possession of these keys at all times.

If you have any cause for complaint about any aspect of our service then please contact Property Therapy at the above address, giving your full contact details, in writing or email: complaints@propertytherapy.co.uk. We will endeavour to resolve the matter as soon as possible and will acknowledge your correspondence within 14 days of receipt.

All complaints from clients are responded to.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

All transactions with Property Therapy Limited are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to English laws and be solely within the jurisdiction of English courts. Any costs regarding legal actions arising that are related to a particular client will be charged and payable by that client as costs. In the event that a dispute arises between the parties, both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Cancellation Policy
We request that if the client needs to postpone/cancel an appointment prior to the appointment date to give a minimum of 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours notice is given we reserve the right to charge an administration cost.

Professional Indemnity Insurance
We maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Privacy and Data Protection
Services from us will require you to provide us with your name, address and other relevant details. We are registered as a data user under the Data Protection Act 1984 with the UK Data Protection Registrar. All the information we keep is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Acts. The information we receive from clients is subject to statutory controls. We will use information we receive from clients to communicate with them, for marketing and promotional purposes. We will not pass your information onto third parties.
